It’s a game of give and take

Life is everything, nothing and anything at the same time. But life is above all a game. A give-and-take game.

One day a friend rushes towards you for advice. And months later you are given the same advice by the same person when you rush towards him. Life can be funny, ironic, tricky and quirky. You’ll need at least one good friend beside you.

Song Inspiration: Lean on Me

“Lean on me, when you’re not strong
And I’ll be your friend
I’ll help you carry on
For it won’t be long
‘Til I’m gonna need
Somebody to lean on”

A healthy love relationship is all about give and take. One day you’re the one telling your partner that everything is gonna be ok… And some other day you’re the one who needs to hear it.

Song Inspiration: You Can’t Hurry Love

“She said love don’t come easy
It’s a game of give and take…”

In business? You scratch my back and I’ll scratch yours! Be generous with your time. Give away valuable information and services. The day when you will need a favor is just around the corner.

Book Inspiration: The Favor Bank theory in The Zahir by Paulo Coelho

“You deposit by giving out favours and withdraw by asking others to do favours for you – usually networking favours. If you do not return the favour when asked, you lose all your privileges.”

My humble advice for you is GIVE GIVE and GIVE not with the expectation to get something in return. Just for the pleasure of it and you’ll be rewarded in ways you don’t necessarily know or expect.

You are so right, Give without expecting anything in return…First of all because you won’t get disappointed, and second because giving makes us feel good 🙂
